So last night when I was thinking about going to bed, I took a gander at my Facebook profile and thought it needed some livening up (that's in order after about a year, I think). Under interests, I had this list:
"Music, people, learning, rock climbing, hiking, ice skating, Ultimate, reading, writing, French, Spanish"
A fair representation, but not exactly thrilling. Here's what I added:
"pomegranate treasure hunts, skipping, running through sprinklers, being right :), talking to myself, not getting caught, giggling (sophisticatedly), convincing spring to come early, eating as many brown sugar/sour cream/fresh strawberry Maestro crepes in a week as possible"
Much better, don't you think? It's so easy to be boring online. In fact, it's easy to be boring in real life.
Here are some more of my interests that I didn't get around to adding last night (because I did go to bed):
Achieving tiger-like flip flop tan lines, conquering the fear of commenting in class, breaking social norms in elevators and then laughing (inwardly, of course) at my unassuming victims, cave exploring, memorizing random historical documents, occasionally spending my grocery money on foreign cheese, jinxing Jared, soaking up sunshine in March,
*deep breath...this is becoming a long laundry list*
getting from place to place efficiently (i.e. driving fast without being pulled over) and talking forcefully to the Utah drivers who slow me down, finding cool artifacts, BYU mint brownies WITHOUT nuts, adventure dreams, doodling to stay awake during boring lectures, honeysuckle hunting, mentally making note of traditions I want to have in my own family and how I want to raise my kids, collecting old and foreign coinage and currency...
Are you bored yet? Maybe this will be continued...

I like it! You've inspired me to write my own list... I just have to take the time. I will though!
