My life is good

I am truly blessed. Diane is playing the piano and singing right now. I have great friends that care about me. My family looks out for me and wants the best for me. I have been blessed to be surrounded by great people throughout my life.
Sometimes I get impatient with life and with myself and wish for things to hurry along, but when I have a faith-filled perspective, I'm content with the process and journey. It's sometimes difficult to see my own progress, but I know that even small triumphs build on each other and lead me to greater heights. I continually marvel at how quick I am to forget simple truths. Every Sunday the past few months, I've been grateful that the Sabbath is once a week, since I need the reminder and fresh perspective at least that often.
I think I'm going to go join Diane. I really like singing around the piano.
